Gregg A. Choe
Principal
Prior to co-founding Prodigy IP, Gregg led the global business development efforts for Intellectual Ventures' Acquisitions group. In this role, Gregg managed a worldwide portfolio of patent acquisition opportunities and spearheaded the development of relationships with a broad range of companies from the Global Fortune 500 to startups, research institutions, and individual inventors.
Previously, Gregg was Director of Strategy and Finance with the TPL Group, an intellectual property development, management, and licensing company focused on semiconductor technology. He was responsible for the planning and execution of the company's organizational development initiatives, including its development of a multicore processor, acquisition of new businesses and IP portfolios, and due diligence of joint development partnership opportunities.
Gregg has spent over two decades in the field of finance and investment, including roles as Principal with GCB Advisors, an investment banker at RA Capital Advisors (Relational Advisors) and as an investment analyst at Allianz Global Investors Capital (Nicholas Applegate Capital Management). He began his career at Wells Fargo & Co.’s Private Client Group.
Gregg holds a B.A. in Political Science - International Relations (with honors) from the University of California, San Diego. He is a member of the Licensing Executives Society and named to the IAM Strategy 300 list of "The World's Leading IP Strategists".
